About Erin
Hello, I'm Erin Shaw, a designer based in St. Louis, Missouri. I have been in the design world for almost 30 years. I got my start as a buyer for a midwestern department store, then moved on to become an award winning merchandise coordinator for an international menswear label. After years of designing and setting up shops in stores around the country, I opened a boutique home staging firm. It was not long before I realized that I spent more time designing my client's new homes, than consulting and staging for the real estate market.
What I love about interior design is getting to meet incredible people and learn how they live. Your home should tell your story, and it's my job to help translate this. Understanding my client's perspective is crucial, as it informs every decision we make. From kids to dogs, to precious heirlooms and sandy feet, I consider your lifestyle when creating a design plan, while also anticipating future needs as clients and their lives evolve.
Designers are more than simply a style guide - we are project managers. From concept to completion, I am guiding you through the process with a team of professionals who are tops in their fields of renovation, fabrication, and installation. My job is to handle logistics and get ahead of any issues so that you can have peace of mind and enjoy your beautiful space. Add to this my access to trade exclusive products and concepts, along with realistic time frames and budgets, and we take the stress out of these design decisions. I bring creativity, inspiration and innovation to every project - my goal is to gently push people to decorate fearlessly!
